Inspired by the many opulent eras of the past, 12th Night creates beautiful fabrics that bring beauty and luxury to the living environments of today. Elaborately appliquéd hand-printed fabrics with layer upon layer of detailing are the hallmark of 12th Night's skilled handiwork on upholstery panels, curtains, lambrequins, drapery and valance ornamentation, table runners, bedcoverings, pillows and a host of other decorative home accessories.
12th Night's technique involves hand-printing gold tones on silk to create an image and appliquéing as many as seven layers of medallions, flourishes and geometric repeats to create a textured and lush design. Owners Douglas and Angeline Stibbs often source decorative embellishments, such as antique silver tassels from the Middle East, to enrich the items they produce.
A showroom collection, available at select United States showrooms, includes ornate pillows, bolsters and decorative coverlets made of the finest hand-printed silks and embellished with 12th Night's signature style of appliqué.
Custom design projects of any scope are welcome and encouraged, including bedcoverings, upholstery panels and specialty drapery and valance ornamentation where the fabric is provided by the client. The Stibbs provide personalized customer service from concept to completion, including full-scale design renderings, swatches and color palette samples for client approval. All work is carefully hand-finished before leaving the studio.
